11:45 PM - Estrogen & Capsaicin Tonight, I volunteered to baby-sit four demanding and mischievous wee ones, in order to avoid going out for Mexican food with my wife, her mother, sister, and sisters-in-law. I had a fairly exhausting time of it, but all told, I think I got the better end of the deal. The youngest child soiled herself, cried, and begged for cuddles until she fell asleep, while the next youngest spill the dogs’ food & water all over the kitchen, much to the delight of the dogs. The two eldest children generally tore about, tearing things up and having wonderful time. This was pretty much as expected. On the whole, though, there were fewer tears and more fun to be had with the children and the dogs than with the women folk out at the restaurant. (
