07:53 AM - Last Day of Work So this is my very last day on the job up here in the E-3 analysis group. I'm surprised to find myself a bit saddened to be leaving after over four years at this desk. On account of the massive reorganization, people, money, and power are being shifted about from some bits of the ALC to other bits. I was given the opportunity to move from one of the orgs which is losing people and money to one of the new orgs which is gaining people and money, and offered a decent raise to boot. As much as I've become comfortable (not to say downright complacent) at this desk and in this job, I would be downright foolish to pass up this chance. So, next week I'll start working for Northrup Grumman and a new set of supervisors and government leaders (woo hoo). (
